Our Mission
Welcome to Oliver & Co. Bookstore, your neighborhood literary home and a vibrant gathering place where pages come to life. Many people ask where our name comes from; we named our store in loving memory of Oliver, a wonderful, snowy-white Maltese dog who was a deeply cherished part of our family. Oliver grew up right alongside our kids, Ethan, Taylor, and Luke, bringing 14 years of pure joy, loyalty, and affection into our lives before he passed away 2019. Naming the bookstore after him is our way of keeping his warm, welcoming spirit alive, while the "& Co." represents our incredible community (and all our other pets).
Because we believe an independent bookstore should be the heart of its community, our calendar is constantly packed with dynamic events. From lively book clubs and hands-on art classes to vendor nights showcasing local makers; there is always a reason to gather and create together.
